Three key changes to the NZECS Rules:
Rule Change 1: Allow for an exception to the requirement that ICP details must be recorded.
Rule Change 2: Allow a Participant to redeem NZ-ECs for another energy consumer’s consumption.
Rule Change 3: Allow a Participant to redeem a quantity of NZ-ECs greater than an Energy User’s level of consumption – small over redemption allowed for transactional efficiency, large over redemption is still not permitted.
