We have developed a template Sale and Purchase Agreement that purchasers and sellers of New Zealand Energy Certificates may use. The use of this template is subject to the Template Terms of Use.
The template agreement enables:
- the sale and purchase of energy certificates for either renewable electricity or renewable gas
- multi-year deals
- fixed of flexible volumes
- flexible payment terms
- the purchaser may be an NZECS Participant or an energy user (in which case the acting NZECS Participant is specified).
The template agreement comprises a Master Sale and Purchase Agreement and a Certificate Order. In this way, multiple Certificate Orders can be transacted under the same Master Sale and Purchase Agreement.
