When you become part of our BraveTrace Network, you join the 360+ strong organisations seeking to promote decarbonisation and accelerate the transition to a renewable future. We like to work with our Network to collaborate on conference presentations, newsletter spotlights and other exciting opportunities to showcase practical examples of what certification can achieve. Because we’re a for-purpose entity, our mission extends far beyond the technical side of certification and we invite you to work with us and our network to ensure the legacy we leave is a traceable choice.
The BraveTrace Network comprises all parties supporting the New Zealand Energy Certificate System (NZECS) for both renewable electricity and renewable gas.
The section below shows three types of parties that interact with the NZECS:
- Registrants: renewable generators that sell NZ-ECs
- Participants: service providers that purchase NZ-ECs on behalf of Energy Users
- Energy Users: energy consumers that have chosen to purchase NZ-ECs (logos from a sample of Energy Users are shown below).
Energy Users are organisations that have chosen to purchase New Zealand Energy Certificates (NZ-ECs) to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy in Aotearoa New Zealand and reduce the emissions associated with their electricity energy consumption.
