The BraveTrace Network comprises all parties supporting the New Zealand Energy Certificate System (NZECS).
The section below shows three types of parties that interact with the NZECS:
- Registrants: renewable generators that sell NZ-ECs
- Participants: service providers that purchase NZ-ECs on behalf of Energy Users
- Energy Users: energy consumers that have chosen to purchase NZ-ECs.
Energy Users are organisations that have chosen to purchase New Zealand Energy Certificates (NZ-ECs) to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy in Aotearoa New Zealand and reduce the emissions associated with their electricity consumption.
